I done the museum last time I was here and saw all the old, familiar things. I didn't think at first Ryan would enjoy a museum but he was running around looking at everything, reading the cards and asking questions. He is so smart and eager to learn.
Here he is at a memorial to the search and rescue dogs from 9/11
And we got the evil eye from Oscar the grouch.
We checked out the Indian exhibit and we came up with Indian names for the models, we also gave Ron the name big chief look over walls because he is darn tall and he managed to lead us to the best villages to pillage and best places to go hunt. Our tribe couldn't fail with big chief look over walls leading us.
We found the kids zone and Ryan spent ages brushing off fossils and trying to work out what we have found.
He took his little brush and swept away all the first to reveal a raptor. Trying to keep up with that little fella was a real challenge.
We came to the end of the time at the museum, I was really aching and decided to get back to Sam's rather than go get food with Nina and crew. This trip really has taken its toll on me and I'm looking forward to really resting up when I get home. While I'm still here, however, I'll try to squeeze as much as I can out of the last few days of my trip.
I said good bye to Nina, Ryan and Ron and they set off for their journey home. I stumbled indoors and we done nothing but relax on the sofa, watching films for the rest of the evening.
Another great day, another set of amazing memories.
Methinks Nina may have a budding Archeologist or Geologist on her hands! Looks like a fun educational day. Not sure what you have planned for today, Memorial day, but whatever it is I hope it's a peaceful non strenuous one. For both you and Sam.
